WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Athletic award medallion
Double-sided tape
Photo
Scissors
Soft cloth or towel
Certificate
Butter knife
Lay frame facedown on soft cloth. Bend flexible tabs up with knife.
Remove both mat boards from the frame.
Set the backing board aside keeping the top matboard facedown.
Cut both sets of enclosed acid-free tape to split between your document and photo.
Peel and place tape at top of certificate ONLY. This prevents buckling and allows for natural expansion of your document.
Position the photo to your liking, then peel and place tape at top of photo ONLY to prevent buckling and allow for natural expansion.
Next, locate your backing board and flip it over so that the black square inset is facing up.
Using double-sided tape, layer several pieces to the back of the medallion
so it stays securely in place.
Position medallion in the center of the black square and firmly hold down for 10 seconds.
Place the top mat over the backing board.
Gently flip mat boards over and lower them into the frame.
Secure the backing board by bending down flexible tabs with knife.
